Insecticides are mainly used to control agricultural pests and urban public health pests. The proportion of insecticides used in China is about 42%. The Ministry of Agriculture issued the Action Plan for Zero Growth of Pesticide Use by 2020. In order to accelerate the realization of the goal, it should start with the use of insecticides with the highest proportion, and focus on the promotion of high-efficiency, low-toxicity, low-residue and pollution-free new and green insecticides, which can effectively reduce the insecticide consumption, reduce the proportion of insecticide use in China, and optimize the pesticide industrial structure. A total of 54 insecticides / acaricides were newly registered in 2019, involving 4 chemical TCs and 3 biological insecticides registered for the first time.
